There are causes for ear bleeds that are nowhere near as serious as a tumour, but those causes if left untreated can cause you some permanent damage to your hearing so they should be checked out. The headaches (which do sound very much like migraines) aside, I'm unsure what type of bleeding you are talking about from you ear, but if it is the case that you are just going about your business and happen to notice blood running out of your ear then you need to be calling your GP or taking yourself to an Emergency Department. You don't say where the lumps on your head are but obviously brain tumours can rarely be felt as lumps because they are inside our skulls so there is every chance they are unrelated. Our brain is very well set-up to protect itself and to allow for the odd bit of damage here and there. I could have 5 times what I have just now without it causing any cognitive deficit at all.

Thankfully small lesions on our brains can be completely harmless. This showed as the result of a TIA and was almost definitely caused by having hemiplegic migraines, particularly such a prolonged one. This the part of the brain stem that controls our autonomic functions like breathing etc.

I spend more time apologising to the people around me for suddenly screaming at full volume than I do in pain with the ice-pick headachesĪfter a slightly less severe but far more prolonged migraine (I spent 3 months constantly wearing shades, even with blinds down at home and at work, kept a bucket next to me at all times to throw up, and was continually on pain and anti-sickness meds) they did an MRI of my brain and found a tiny white spot on my pons. I now get ice-piack headaches also which literally feel like out of nowhere someone has slammed an ice-pick through my head, the pain only lasts maybe 5-10 seconds but it completely stops me in my tracks and it will happen a number of times throughout the day for a few days in a row. I have had these now for 20+ years although they are far less frequent as I have got better at preventing them. The symptoms then decline but I will continue to be really quite unwell for a few days afterwards.

What this means is that with my very first migraine I lost the sight in one eye, became paralysed down one side, was slurring my speech and was in unspeakable pain for many, any hours. Sadly I also suffer from migraines and mine have been hemiplegic from the outset. I hope someone can help, I found a lump on my head like one really can't move it, went dr they said it's nothing started getting headaches day after drs and then like pressure behind eyes,my ears sometimes feel like your on a plane, went back to drs they said its anxiety and lump is superficial and nothing and to stop stressing, day after this appointment I had tingles in my left arm (which has gone now) and nausea !! Went back to dr he sent me hospital they checked me over and said it is anxiety and stress worrying about the lump, she said she don't know what lump is but it's not a tumour and a unnecessary to have a scan, so I did actually feel better after arm stopped tingling but then headaches changed from back of neck to between eyes!! And I just feel I am falling apart 10 days of headaches that only sometimes go with painkillers and this feeling behind my eyes, but they all say anxiety can it be just that? I hope so the fear of it being a tumour is scary, I hope someone can help and put my mind at rest I just want these headaches to go!!
